Payment Options & Cancellations

We require payment at the time of service. We offer payment by EFTPOS, credit card (Visa and Mastercard), and cash. We also accept Afterpay, Zippay, and Vetpay. Please read the terms and conditions of the payment plans thoroughly. 

VetPay

VetPay requires a 10% deposit to Canberra Cat Vet at the time of service, and the remainder will be directly debited in spread-out fortnightly repayments from your nominated bank account. Interest is applied. Applications take 5 minutes, and approval takes 15 minutes.

ZipPay

ZipPay requires no payment upfront by you and allows repayments to be spread out over weeks, fortnights or months, working with your schedule.  Repayments must be a minimum of $40 per month. No sign-up fees or interest.

AfterPay

Afterpay provides quick and easy approval, without fees unless payment has not been provided. Afterpay requires full upfront payment to Canberra Cat Vet on your behalf. You'll pay for the first instalment directly to us (25% of total purchase) at the time of service, and then pay the remainder in 3 equal following instalments, over 6 weeks without interest. These instalments will be automatically deducted via your nominated credit or debit card.

GapOnly

GapOnly® is a pet insurance payment service, with a policy of GapOnly you can claim on the spot and are required to only pay the gap (the difference between the vet’s invoice and the eligible claim benefit under their policy) upfront to Canberra Cat Vet. Please be advised that only certain insurance policies are eligible

A GapOnly® claim may take around 10 minutes to process. If we think the claim may take longer than this our reception team will let you know, if so you can decide whether you’d like to wait, or if available, submit an electronic pet insurance claim instead (pay the whole invoice and get reimbursed later).

To help speed up this process, please let reception and the vet know that you’d like to use GapOnly® for your pet insurance claim, this should reduce delay times.

Cancellation/Failure Policy

Please advice us by phone call 24 hours prior to your appointment of cancellation. Cancellations without sufficient notice and no shows affect our ability to provide veterinary care to others who are in need. 

Last-minute cancellations or no shows fees may apply, and/or will result in mandatory pre-payment or deposits at the time of booking.
