Back to Face to face consultations

Thank you for your patience over the last couple of months while we have had to exclude you from the hospital.
In light of the low incidence of COVID-19 in the ACT, we will allow one person per consultation into the building from Tuesday 9th June. Please read the new consultation process below.

1. When you arrive at Canberra Cat Vet for a consultation or procedure admission, please remain in your vehicle and call us on 6251 1444 to let us know you’ve arrived
2. We’ll call you once the coast is clear and the vet is ready to see you
3. We can only allow one person per appointment to enter the building due to space restrictions. If you have children with you please leave your cat in the vestibule and remain with the children in the car. We will examine your cat and call you.
4. During your consultation sit in the chair provided and maintain a safe distance from the vet or nurse
5. At the end of the consultation settle your account at the reception desk (PayWave is our preferred method) and book any rechecks required. 

Please bring your mobile phone and a credit/debit card for payment (we prefer non-cash payments).
All cats must arrive in a carrier.

Please call us at least half a day ahead to order food or medication. This allows our vets time to prepare any prescriptions.

When you arrive at Canberra Cat Vet please remain in your vehicle and call us on 6251 1444 to let us know you’ve arrived. We will take payment for the product over the phone using your card details, and leave the food or medication in the vestibule.
